The Money Desk Associate works with the Money Desk team to support cash management functions, including wires, ACH and reconciliations that serve as a key control for Farm Credit East. In addition to daily production responsibilities, the employee is expected to help identify and implement improvements as needed. Support to financial projects is expected as time permits.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting
- Performs daily reconciliation of CoBank and related checking accounts for FCE
- Helps clear all outstanding items affecting CoBank reconciliations
- Processes all daily wire and ACH activity for FCE
- Processes daily lockbox file and rejects including all balancing of related GL account
- Provides research and GL support to aid the marketplace requests that are received by the Money Desk
Monetary and Patronage
- Works collectively with Farm Credit East (FCE) management, the finance and accounting team and marketplace staff, FPI and all external partners to support all aspects of the Money Desk/cash management functions performed by FCE
- Maintains internal documentation of process, procedures and controls
- Works with the Money Desk team to support FCE’s patronage program
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
- We offer hybrid work options after two weeks of employment with Farm Credit East. Hybrid work options are determined based on job role and balancing the needs of the customers, the team, and individual work performance. This will be reviewed based on manager discretion.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $53,000 to $65,000 commensurate with experience
- Short-Term Incentive to reward business results
- Retirement Contributions :
- 401k match up to 6% of salary; or for those unable to take full advantage of the 401(k) match, verified student loan payments may qualify for an employer match in your 401(k) up to 6% of salary
- Defined Contribution retirement plan funded at 2-9% of salary depending on years of service
- Time Off:
- 15-25 days of vacation leave per year, depending on years of service
- 12 days of holiday leave per year
- 7.5 days of sick leave in your first year, followed by 12 days of sick leave per year thereafter; unlimited rollover of unused sick leave year to year
