The Inside Sales Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the Association’s sales and lead management functions. This position is responsible for administering and vetting incoming leads, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring the effective delivery of financial programs such as AgDirect, Farm Credit Leasing (FCL), and CoBank Cash Manager. The role requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and collaboration across business units to drive efficiency and maintain high service standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
Lead Administration & Qualification
- Manage and administer leads generated from third-party sources, external partners, and online inquiries.
- Vet all incoming leads for quality and relevance before advancing them to appropriate owners.
- Provide informed guidance to leads based on working knowledge of relevant products and services.
- Collaborate with the data team to identify, procure, and curate third-party marketing lists.
- Analyze and organize marketing data to support targeted outreach and lead generation and conversion efforts.
Program Delivery
- Serve as the primary internal resource for the delivery and support of:
- AgDirect
- Farm Credit Leasing (FCL)
- CoBank Cash Manager
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of program-related inquiries and applications.
- Act as primary point of contact with external product providers.
Team Collaboration & Redundancy
- Partner with the Knowledge & Experience (KE) team to share responsibilities and ensure continuity and timeliness of service.
- Provide backup support and maintain cross-training documentation to ensure customer responses remain best in class.
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Economics, Finance, Business or a related field. .
- You are required in office 5 days per week for the first 2 weeks; weeks 3 - 8 in office 4 days per week with the option of Friday remote; after week 9 you will follow the in office requirement based on your job role. This is based on manager discretion and meeting performance expectations.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $65,000 to $95,000 commensurate with experience
- Short-Term Incentive to reward business results
- Retirement Contributions :
- 401k match up to 6% of salary; or for those unable to take full advantage of the 401(k) match, verified student loan payments may qualify for an employer match in your 401(k) up to 6% of salary
- Defined Contribution retirement plan funded at 2-9% of salary depending on years of service
- Time Off:
- 15-25 days of vacation leave per year, depending on years of service
- 12 days of holiday leave per year
- 7.5 days of sick leave in your first year, followed by 12 days of sick leave per year thereafter; unlimited rollover of unused sick leave year to year
