The Head of Digital Products, Applications & Data at FCE is a senior leadership role responsible for leading the strategy, development, and operations of the company’s digital products, applications/software and data services. This role reports directly to the Chief Information Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build a high performing Digital Products and Applications Development team from the ground up to deliver key company initiatives through custom software solutions specifically designed for internal and external use
  • Work closely with our internal MSP by aligning resources where needed to deliver applications and products that drive value for our company
  • Define and execute the product roadmap and strategy for the company's application portfolio to drive growth, innovation, and market leadership.
  • Oversee the full application lifecycle from concept to launch for new products as well as enhancements to existing offerings.
  • Manage a large, global team of software engineers, product managers, UX designers, and quality assurance professionals across multiple sites.
  • Collaborate closely with other executive leaders in engineering, sales, marketing, and services to align priorities and go-to-market strategies.
  • Optimize processes for agile application development, testing, deployment, and support of cloud and on-premises solutions.
  • Ensure applications meet all security, compliance, scalability, and performance requirements.
  • Track product usage metrics and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and manage budgets for application development and operational expenditures.
  • Establish policies, standards, and best practices for application architectures and development methodologies.
  • Evaluate potential partnerships, acquisitions, or integration opportunities for complementary technologies.
  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the company's data management capabilities including data modeling, data architecture, data warehousing, business intelligence, and advanced analytics
  • Partner with business leaders to understand data and analytics needs across the enterprise and translate requirements into robust data solutions
  • Establish data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, security, and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of the enterprise data warehouse, data marts, and reporting environments
  • Manage the database administration function including capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and security administration
  • Drive initiatives to integrate, cleanse and standardize master data across systems to create a trusted "single source of truth"
  • Implement processes and tools for metadata management, data lineage tracking, and data cataloging
  • Evaluate emerging data management technologies and incorporate innovations into the enterprise architecture
  • Manage and mentor a team of data architects, database administrators, data engineers, and analysts
  • Collaborate with IT, security, compliance, and other teams to align on enterprise data initiatives
  • Understand business requirements and translating them to application and product development

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, SW/Data Engineering, Mathematics or related technical field. Master's preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in software development leadership roles for enterprise applications.
  • Extensive expertise in agile methodologies, cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and microservices architectures.
  • Proven track record of delivering innovative, high-quality software solutions to meet business goals.
  • Strong program and product management capabilities with experience in the full software development lifecycle.
  • Exceptional leadership skills to motivate, mentor and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to drive cross-functional execution.
  • Strategic vision and business acumen to understand market trends and customer needs.
  • 12+ years of experience in data management, data architecture, and business intelligence leadership roles 
  • Strong Data Analytics experience and vast experience in running a data science team
  • Strong Experience in Gen AI ,LLMs, Automation, BPA and Chat GPT
  • Knowledge of Fiserve, DNA, nCino, CCH, Salesforce (Financial Services Cloud) and MuleSoft
  • Mastery of data warehousing, ETL, database administration, and data modeling concepts/methodologies. Deep understand in DataLake architecture and Data Management.
  • Strong expertise in data governance frameworks and master data management best practices
  • Extensive knowledge of business intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics solutions
  • Proven ability to translate business strategy into enterprise data management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing technical teams
  • Salary range: $160,000 - $225,000 commensurate with experience.
