A Country Living Loan Coordinator role is responsible for servicing the long-term residential lending portfolio within Farm Credit East. The Loan Coordinator serves as a liaison among team members involved in the end-to-end lending lifecycle. Loan Coordinators will primarily be responsible for internal operations with several external client-facing responsibilities, as well. Loan Coordinators collaborate with the Country Living and Retail Credit teams, and function as the first line of defense for customer questions, servicing requests, and documentation needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Portfolio Management & Loan Servicing Administration

  • Conducts portfolio management to evaluate and maintain acceptable credit risk within the risk appetite of the Association
  • Is responsible for credit risk, analysis track, and loan administration within ACA policies, procedures and guidance.
  • Is responsible for region’s delinquency management, credit quality, and loan servicing administration.
  • Working collaboratively with approval desk and high-risk asset SME to have consistent loan administration within ACA policy/procedure/guidance.   

Loan Support

  • Performs day-to-day activities to assist lending staff with supporting new and existing customers across the entire lending life cycle
  • Credit Related Tasks:
    • Executes tasks related to document collection, including customer financials
    • Interacts with Credit and serves as the liaison to team members during the loan approval process
    • Initiates Preliminary Credit Packages in the system for Modifications/Renewals/etc.
    • Orders and obtains third party reports, including appraisals, title, etc.
    • Operates as the liaison for Doc Prep/Legal/Closing/Funding/Booking
    • Serves as a point of contact for customer requests including the movement of money, loan disbursements, wires, ACHs, and customer payments
    • Is responsible for accounts receivable management related to pre-paid closing fees, or professional services of the Association
  • Operations Related Tasks: 
    • Serves as a point of contact on internal request forms, with responsibilities ranging in multiple stages of completion (initiation to finalize) based on the business issue
    • Provides quality assurance of shared documentation
    • Prepares Document Checklists
    • Executes loan administration tasks
    • Confirms loan documentation has been received and filed
    • Requests and/or generates any reports for tracking/monitoring of the Team’s portfolio
  • Document Management
    • Responsible for activities related to Mortgage filings 
  • Customer Centricity
    • Troubleshoots client questions/issues 
    • Services client requests with money movement of Payments, Wires, and Draws, including engagement of other Association roles to ensure compliance with policy
    • Maintain a 24-Hour communication expectation for customer contacts
    • Maximum of 2 escalations due to availability or lack of communication
    • At least 1 quality/valuable logged customer contact in AgWorx per closed opportunity
    • NPS Results – Goal of 80% for Business Unit
       

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Economics, Finance, Business or a related field or;
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Salary range: $50,000- $58,000 commensurate with experience
