The Project Manager (PM) drives and delivers initiatives that bring value and additive solutions to Farm Credit East’s team and our customers. The Project Manager brings strong communication skills, organizational qualities, and a proactive mindset working with a diverse team to generate stakeholder value. The Project Manager executes initiatives following the project delivery life cycle managing towards scope, schedule, and budget for effective project implementation. The incumbent works in a team environment to complete initiatives that meet the mission, vision, objectives, and goals consistent with the Farm Credit East Business Plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Execution
- Leads cross-functional teams to complete initiatives to the approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards utilizing project management methodologies
- Develops and maintains project plans including timeline, project budget, risk management, issue management, resource management, and change order/decision management
- Manages project documentation and deliverables including but not limited to: Project Charter, Risk log, Issue Log, Project Status Reports, Requirements Documentation, and Go Live Documentation
- Identifies and manages cross-project interdependencies, escalates risks from interdependencies as needed
- Completes project reflections to capture lessons learned and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Partner with Stakeholders
- Builds and maintains strong partnerships with stakeholders, including customers, employees, partners, and senior management
- Communicates frequently with leadership and Executive Sponsor to ensure projects and development align with Farm Credit East strategy/goals
- Partners with sponsor, key stakeholders, and manager to build high performing teams and a supporting environment leading to effective and efficient project execution
- Manages appropriate external relationships
Change Enablement
- Engaged in training and full adoption of FCE’s technology platforms to meet association and customer needs
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to standardized methods to improve efficiency, collaboration, and embodiment of One Team Working Together
- Support organizational transformation providing guidance in change enablement, communications, and training supporting delivery and adoption of strategic programs within the organization
- Works cooperatively with the change enablement team to develop the Communication/Change Enablement Plan and associated training for each process, system or technology rollout
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- We offer hybrid work options after six months of employment with Farm Credit East. Hybrid work options are determined based on job role and balancing the needs of the customers, the team, and individual work performance. This will be reviewed based on manager discretion.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $65,000 to $95,000 commensurate with experience
- Short-Term Incentive to reward business results
- Retirement Contributions :
- 401k match up to 6% of salary
- Defined Contribution retirement plan funded at 2-9% of salary depending on years of service
- Time Off:
- 15-25 days of vacation leave per year, depending on years of service
- 12 days of holiday leave per year
- 7.5 days of sick leave in your first year, followed by 12 days of sick leave per year thereafter; unlimited rollover of unused sick leave year to year
